| 30 LAUSD Schools Receive Title I Academic Award |
|
Thirty schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) have been named recipients of the 2009-2010 Academic Achievement Award by the California Department of Education (CDE). The honor recognizes significant school-wide progress toward proficiency on California's academic content standards by disadvantaged students who have doubled achievement targets set for them by the CDE for two consecutive years.
