Summary	The Los Angeles Unified School District and all its employees are subject to the provisions of the Copyright Act of 1976. Teachers, administrators, library media teachers, and other District personnel will take an active role in assuring compliance with the United States copyright law and congressional guidelines. This bulletin addresses District copyright policies, and new technological issues and District organization.
Major Changes	This revision replaces Office of the Deputy Superintendent, Instruction, Bulletin No. 43 with the same title dated May 18, 1998. The content has been revised to reflect current District policy and updated to address new technological issues and District organization.
