This document provides suggested actions for users who are experiencing issues using LAUSDMAX with Internet Explorer 8.
Attention Mac OS 10.3 and 10.2 Users
Users have experienced attendance submission issues in ISIS with Mac operating systems of 10.3 and lower, when using Internet Explorer or Safari Internet browsers.

Symptoms:
When submitting attendance via the Attendance Certification window, the user does not receive any indication of successful completion. The result is that attendance does not get submitted.

Cause:
Apple no longer provides support for Mac OS versions 10.3 and lower. Therefore, there is no way to conduct a thorough investigation of the cause.

Resolution:
We recommend using the Firefox browser version 2.0 for submitting attendance in LAUSDMAX. We have tested attendance submission on OS 10.3 and 10.2 operating systems, only, and have found that the Firefox browser an effective resolution for the issue.

Firefox 2.0 and older is available for download from third party websites, such as Old Mac Apps.
