LAW AFFECTING INTER-DISTRICT PERMITS:  AB2444 INFORMATION

Effective as of JANUARY 1, 2011, Assembly Bill (AB) 2444, requires students who have a valid permit to attend a specific school may continue attendance in that same school without the need to re-apply annually to the district of residence or attendance.  When the student matriculates, or there is a change of school placement, a new permit is required.  This law applies to all school districts in the state of California.

Permit applications for 2013-2014 school year will begin on March 1, 2013. More information will be available closer to that date.
