The School Safety, Student Health and Human Relations Committee is one of the four standing committees of the Board of Education for the 2008-2009 school year. The primary responsibilities of this Committee are to examine matters involving student affairs, school safety and health human services, and human relations. The School Safety, Student Health and Human Services, and Human Relations Committee usually meets monthly and meetings are open to the public.
Committee Members for the 2008-2009 school year are: Chairperson, Julie Korenstein, Board Member Marguerite Poindexter LaMotte, and Board Member Tamar Galatzan.
The Committee meets in the Board Room at LAUSD Headquarters - 333 S. Beaudry Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90017. This Committee is scheduled to meet at 10:00 a.m. on the 1st Thursday of the month on the following dates, except as noted by an asterisk (*):
