This section's primary responsibility is the administration of the District’s self-insurance property and casualty insurance programs, along with the managing of the District’s excess insurance policy purchases and coverages, including programs such as the student accident and voluntary health programs, and special events liability coverage.
The Insurance and Risk Finance Section is responsible for establishing and approving the insurance requirements for all District vendor/contractor/supplier contracts and all professional services contracts or special events liability uses of District facilities.
The Insurance and Risk Finance Section also provides documentation for proof of insurance on the District’s behalf, for all contracts where the District is required to provide evidence of insurance. |
