Overview
The District is required by state and federal law to provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities so that employees with disabilities can be afforded the benefits and privileges of employment equal to those enjoyed by similar employees without disabilities. The Integrated Disability Management Unit of the Division of Risk Management and Insurance Services oversees and coordinates the Reasonable Accommodation process on behalf of the District. Please refer to Bulletin 4569.0 for information about the process and application to request reasonable accommodation.
