The California Department of Education directs funds through a competitive grant process to Career Academies in LAUSD that apply and meet the published criteria. The purpose of these grant funds is to build and enhance sustainable Career Academies in which students can master academic content in the designated career context and graduate from high school better prepared to succeed in the adult world.
CPA funding, which is matched by the school district, is ongoing as long as the required program elements are in place and can be verified by CDE staff. |
